SoftSDC

Quick start

Set up SoftSDC in six steps. Check requirements, get a trial or license, install, connect your card reader, activate and connect your POS.

This page takes you from nothing to a working fiscal device. Each step links to a page with more detail.

Check the requirements

Make sure you have:

  • A Windows 10 (1809 or newer) or Windows 11 PC, or an Android 9.0 or newer device with USB On-The-Go (OTG).
  • A smart card reader, and an OTG adapter for Android.
  • The smart card (secure element) and PIN from your Tax Authority.
  • An internet connection for activation and the first initialization.

Full details are in system requirements, with separate pages for Windows requirements and Android requirements.

Start a trial or buy a license

The trial is free for 7 days, has every feature and needs no payment card. It ends on its own after 7 days.

To keep using SoftSDC, buy a license for each device. You can pay by card or by wire transfer from your account.

See licensing for how licenses work.

Install SoftSDC

Download the installer for your platform and run it.

Before you install, turn on Set time automatically on the device. Step-by-step instructions are in installation.

Connect the reader and insert your card

Plug in the smart card reader. On Android, use the OTG adapter. When the device asks for permission to use the reader, allow it.

Insert your Tax Authority smart card into the reader.

Activate SoftSDC and enter your PIN

Open SoftSDC. On the welcome screen, choose Start Trial or Activate License. To activate, enter your 36-character license key and select Register.

Then enter your smart card PIN. You have 5 attempts before the card locks.

The getting started guide shows each screen.

Connect your POS

Point your POS to the SoftSDC API at http://localhost:8431/api/v3. If the POS runs on another device, use the SoftSDC device's address instead of localhost.

To check that everything works, use Create test invoice in the app, or call GET /api/v3/attention from the POS.

POS developers can find the details in the API reference.
