System requirements
What you need to run SoftSDC on Windows or Android, including network access, card reader, smart card, time settings and firewall rules.
SoftSDC has modest requirements. Most modern PCs, phones and tablets meet them.
SoftSDC runs as two parts: an app you use to manage it, and a service that handles requests in the background.

What every installation needs
- Internet access. Required for activation and for initialization on first use. After that, connect at least once every 48 hours.
- A smart card reader with working drivers.
- A smart card with a secure element, issued by your Tax Authority.
Before you install
Unblock the download
After you download the installer, unblock it. This stops your antivirus or the operating system from warning about an untrusted source. The steps depend on your platform.
Set the time automatically
Do not change the date or time
Turn on Set time automatically before you run the installer. After that, never change the date or time on a device that runs SoftSDC. Invoices with a wrong date or time can have legal consequences.
Allow the license service through your firewall
SoftSDC uses Cryptlex to manage and check licenses. Allow outbound connections to:

Also allow HTTPS (port 443) to your Tax Authority servers. If the POS runs on another device, allow it to reach the SoftSDC API port (8431 by default).
